My Favorite Things

 

Happy Holidays!! We are 10 days away from Christmas! (20 days away from my birthday! 🙂 ) Can you believe it? This is my favorite time of the year. It is time to be with family and friends, to give, to share, to love, and to honor the birth of our precious Savior. Generally, during this time of year, I love to give gifts. I love to see people’s smiling faces when they unwrap their presents or the joy they have when trying on the plush new robe that they’ve been eyeing in the store..It just makes my heart happy! I thought I would channel my inner-Oprah and share with you some of my favorite things of 2014. These are great things for yourself or for someone you love ❤

In no particular order…here you go: Freely Fatima’s Favorite Things 2014

1. Alex and Ani

 

These bracelets are perfect to give for a gift. Each of the bracelets have a meaning. The one above, is one of my favorites- Path of Life: Strength • Motivation • Knowledge. You can get these cute bracelets in Russian silver or gold finish. These are so cute to give to any lady who is special to you! And when you have multiple bracelets on at a time, they make such a pretty sound.

2. Georgetown Cupcakes

Want to send some love in the mail? Send Georgetown cupcakes. I absolutely love these cupcakes. They are so flavorful, soft, and have the perfect amount of icing. My favorite flavors are red velvet, cookies and cream,  and good old classic vanilla with chocolate icing. Of course I could go on and on. I haven’t had a bad cupcake from them. Order these babies online and send them to that special person who has a sweet tooth.

3. Gucci Guilty

 

This is my favorite fragrance EVER. Fragrances smell differently on everyone because of body chemistry, but the way this smells on me…honey, I just love it (and so does my hubby!). Gucci’s website says it has “top notes of pink pepper and red fruit, heart notes of violet, and base notes of patchouli and amber.” To me, it smells like grown folks baby powder (lol!) It does! That’s the only way I can describe it. Not too overpowering, but definitely makes a statement. Gucci Guilty is one of my staple fragrances.

4. L.L.Bean slippers

 

 

The name of these slippers are ‘Wicked Good’ and they literally are wicked good and wicked comfortable! My husband has the men’s version and I would wear his more than he did. He broke down and finally got me my own pair. Super comfortable, and super warm! Perfect with your favorite pajamas.

5. Nissan Rogue

 

 

You get a car, and you get a car, and you get a car!! That is one of my favorite episodes of Oprah. Every time I watch it, I feel like I’m sitting in the audience because Oprah just gets you so excited! lol If you’re loved one needs a new car, and they want something that is AWD, spacious, sleek, up to date, and good on gas? The Nissan Rogue has got you covered. My hubby bought me a 2014 Rogue in August and I have recently gotten a chance to test it out in the snow and it was blazing through! No more worrying about getting stuck all the time. I LOVE my car. Can you tell? 🙂

6. Uggs

 

Looking for some warm, well made, long lasting boots? Uggs are it. I love what they did with this classic Ugg boot and added cheetah print. You know I had to have them. My last Uggs lasted four years, and I was excited to get a new pair. Their classics are great, but so are their other styles. I have my eye on a couple more pair. Great for kids too!

 

7. Bath & Body Works 

Who doesn’t love Bath and Body Works? Yesterday, I took advantage of their hand soap sale ($2.50 each!!). The fresh sparkling snow smells soooo good! Head on over to your nearest store or online to take advantage of their buy 3 get 3 free sale on their signature collection! Their travel size hand sanitizers and lotions are great for stocking stuffers, and their candles smell so good. My favorite scent (right now) from their signature collection is Velvet Sugar. Mmm mm good!

8. Monogram Mug

 

Sip your coffee or tea in style with a monogram mug. Monograms on anything seems to be in nowadays.  Super cute for an inexpensive gift. Add a packet of hot chocolate or tea, wrap it in some gift basket wrap, and this is the perfect gift for a coworker or secret santa gift exchange!

9. Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade

For the makeup lover in your life, you will not disappoint by giving them this brow pomade. I use it everyday. It is great for making your eyebrows perfect for either every day wear or that special night on the town. I swear by this stuff!

Oprah and I will share this one. I thought this was super cute. What a fabulous way to show your love with photos! Pictures surely last a lifetime. And this would be a great way to showcase them. They have all different kinds of shapes, but I love the heart. (Peep Oprah and Gail in the photos!)
